Zenexus launch new brand
We are extremely excited to launch our new company identity alongside our newly designed, more functional website.
We are delighted with the results and have worked closely with Porcupine Design throughout the process. Our brief was to capture the essence of Zenexus – our core values, our business sector and the name itself (Zen: a state of mind in which one is calm, nothing fazes one who is zen. Nexus: a form of connection; a connected group; the centre of something.

Just to prove we have thought this through….
The design strongly incorporates Ensōs (a Japanese word meaning "circle") and a concept strongly associated with Zen. It symbolises absolute enlightenment, strength and elegance. The interconnecting Ensos represent the interconnectedness of all life; each circle reflects hopes, visions and aspirations – ideal for someone exploring a new career path!
The use of colour in logo and identity design is all too often underestimated. Colours speak emotions; they evoke a feeling, a response – which is exactly the aim of a brand identity. Therefore, choosing the right colour to set off the right response is paramount. We have taken the colours Emma has used in her previous business, orange and black. Orange represents energy and is the colour of change (images of autumn leaves represents the changing seasons) and black conveys elegance, sophistication, or perhaps a touch of mystery. Being a Water element color, black can be a powerful feng shui cure to attract career opportunities. To this we added lime green, with orange giving a fresh and fruity palette. Green is the feng shui color of renewal, fresh energy and new beginnings.
The new brand identity is a result of a huge team effort, with all of our staff participating in the process. We feel the new brand packs some serious punch. It feels like a brand with energy and credibility. It’s versatile and modern. It is instantly recognisable and we have no doubt about what it represents.
